About Foxes Bow Whiskey
Foxes Bow Whiskey is already causing quite a stir with their fresh take on Irish
Whiskey. Release 01 launched in late 2021 and is a blended Irish whiskey, aged in
Bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso and Rye casks. This novel mix of finishes
in Irish whiskey makes for a layered, yet well balanced whiskey. Usually favoured
by American and Canadian Whiskies, the inclusion of rye casks in the whiskey’s
finish lends a floral bouquet to the whiskey’s nose, while providing an interesting
lingering spice to the palette. Expect a burst of fruity sherry flavours, followed by a
wave of spice and perfectly finished with a lingering velvety vanilla sweetness.
This whiskey features a natural rich amber with no added caramel colouring and is
non chill filtered. This is the first release from the Alt Liquor Co. But it certainly
won’t be the last…
