West Cork Whiskey began in 2003, founded by three lifelong friends in a back room in Union Hall. Today, it has grown into one of Ireland’s largest distilleries, employing over 140 local staff and remaining firmly rooted in its community. The distillery is fiercely independent, built on resilience, and committed to producing quality Irish whiskey in West Cork, just south of the Golden Vale.

Using only Irish barley and embracing maritime aging, West Cork Distillers focuses on what goes into the bottle rather than marketing noise. Their philosophy is simple: not trying to be craft or corporate—just good whiskey, made right.

The core range includes Bourbon Cask, Black Cask, and the Maritime Series, a highly sought-after collection often used for gifting due to its distinctive packaging and quality.
