About Paddy Irish Whiskey
Made from a unique blend of pot still, malt and grain whiskeys. Paddy owes its name to the legendary distillery salesman, Paddy Flaherty. Famed throughout his native county cork for buying rounds of his favourite tipple, he became synonymous with the whiskey he sold, that in 1913 the distillery owners paid him the ultimate tribute by renaming the whiskey ‘Paddy’ in his honour. Paddy is distilled three times, using the finest-quality barley and water from Ireland’s east Cork countryside. This ensures a whiskey which is particularly light, well balanced and pure. Paddy’s Share is triple distilled in County Cork and blended with malt in sherry barrels for its unique taste, PADDY’S SHARE boasts a 47% ABV with a bold, robust flavour and a distinctly nutty, malty and charred wood character.
