About the Brand
Bruichladdich Distillery is located on the remote southwestern coast of Islay in the Hebrides. It produces four distinctive spirits: unpeated Bruichladdich single malt, heavily peated Port Charlotte, ultra heavily peated Octomore, and The Botanist Islay dry gin.
Originally founded in 1881, the distillery was closed in 1994 and later revived in 2001. Its original Victorian-era equipment remains in use today, combining tradition with a modern progressive approach. The distillery is known for its commitment to provenance, transparency, and sustainability.
In 2020, Bruichladdich became the first Scotch whisky distillery to achieve B Corp certification, recognising its leadership in environmental and social responsibility.
