About Cape Clear Distillery
Cape Clear Island Distillery is Ireland’s only offshore island distillery. Established
in 2019, we produce multi award-winning 3 Sq Miles Irish Coastal Gin and more
recently 3 Sq Miles Cask Aged Gin.
Our classic Gin is made with Laminaria Digitata, a form of hand foraged seaweed,
fuchsia and honeysuckle and imparts a sweet and fresh taste, genuinely redolent of
the sea.
Our unique humid maritime micro-climate has proven to be an exceptional
environment for maturation. We use very carefully selected 400 litre casks,
especially Acacia from the Gaillac Wine region for a perfect balance of maturation
while retaining the fruitiness and freshness of our gin.
Our Cask Aged Gin is perfect for Whiskey lovers who appreciate an occasional gin.
