About Lough Ree Distillery
Located in Lanesborough, Co. Longford, Lough Ree Distillery is a growing and ambitious family business, perched on the shores of the mighty River Shannon. In 2022, we started to distill and lay down our own Irish Whiskey, and we are currently Ireland's smallest GI Verified Whiskey Distillery, with major expansion plans underway.
Bart's Blended Irish Whiskey is a complex blend of Grain, Pot Still and Peated Malts with Malt Whiskies finished in Rye & Oloroso casks. A tribute to Bart Clancy (father of founders Peter, Sheila and Mike), Bart’s is a flavour-driven whiskey and has received rave reviews from competitions but most importantly from whiskey drinkers.
Our limited edition The Bridge Single Cask Irish Whiskey series is sourced from other Irish Distilleries and finished to our own specifications, with full transparency. We’re about to release number 18 in the series, one of several very exciting releases this year!
