Shane will talk through the history of Templeton Rye, tracking back to prohibition when the small town of Templeton became one of the most notorious towns in the USA. Through the resurrection of the Templeton brand in 2006 and the resurgence of Rye whiskey culminating in the opening of the $35 million state of the art Templeton Whiskey Distillery in 2018. Attendees will have a look at Rye whiskey in depth, what makes it different, the rise and fall and the rise again while tasting the full Templeton portfolio with limited releases and new make spirit from the distillery.
